probably so, he may need this. for some reason men and their mom's has some special kind of bond that won't break and he can listen to her before he hear himself. U could have been saying the exact same thing for weeks but mom says it once and he finally hears, Good Luck, I think at some point they should let go and make more decisions on their own.

I guess it would depend on the reason. Losing his family sounds like a good reason. I think everyone needs to talk to their mom sometimes. Just to bounce ideas off, to get advise from. He just has to remember he doesn't have to take the advice. Sometimes it's just nice to have mom there to listen.

sometimes grown men still need their mother...i know i do....sometimes life gets so stressful you just feel like crawling up in a ball in a dark corner and never coming out..when i get to that point my mom gets involved...a mother knows their child best and if that's what he needs to open his eyes and see what he might loose...then so be it..it shouldn't' matter who comes and talks to him as long as matters get resolved...him your his wife and feeling she shouldn't' come around then that's your problem...my wife sometimes can't get me out of those really bad moods and she calls my mother hers elf to come out and visit with me for a few days....nothing wrong with it...

Mother's seem to have all the answers. Listen to her as she won't put you on the wrong track.
