emotional pain is by far the worst...when my 15 year old daughter died in my arms in her hospital bed, I would have gladly traded severe pain than deal with that trauma

Wow, good question. I would have to say emotional pain, because I myself have very bad recurring migraines, and any other physical pain other than that is pretty much nothing to me ... but I hope I never get shot or lose a limb. Emotional pain just screws with your mind. I mean, being physically hurt never drove anyone insane, but something like a woman's husband of 35 years leaving her for a hot 19 year old would drive the right person insane. Emotional pain is really difficult for me.
But I didn't lose a husband. I'm 17

From my own personal experience it would have to be emotional. But I could also say, it depends on the person. Some people don't experience a lot of emotional happenings in their life i.e. they are missing out on a huge part of thier lives. Some people just can't handle physical pain. Mind over matter I say. I can take the physical, but the emotional is a killer is stays with you a lot longer, and though you may have physical scars that everyone can see, most people are blind to your emotional scars.

Well, hmm.... if your migranes (or whatever the ailment is) are bad enough, more than likely there is a drug that will help it.... and who would I be getting my heart broken by over and over again? It seems that I would eventually say "hmm this is annoying" and not be around that person anymore. And if you had your heart broken that many times, after a while you may not even feel it, so I'd guess I'd sit in a dark corner, build a small fire and stare off into space thinking, what happened to my headache? I kinda miss it.....

Tough question. I'm plagued with dysmenorrhea (severaly painful menstrual cramps), and I really when they grab my body in its tight grip. Sometimes, literally I'm in pain from my waist to the tips of my toes and everywhere in between. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Broken bones hurt, I once broke both feet at the same time. Owwwwww!!!!!
I have glaucoma, and my eyes have hurt severely in the past. Once, I had so much pain from surgery complications that I the Dr to take the eye out. He did, but not 'cause I asked, but because there was no choice. After it was out, I was FREEEEE and SO SO SO HAPPY to not have the horrible pain anymore!!!
Broken heart... I've had that lots and LOTS of times, and I'm still standing. It's part of who I am today, and I'm a very strong and human being. I'm a survivor and very very resiliant.
I guess I'd have to say that physical pain is more difficult.

I will deal with a migraine! There is medicine for that, But there is no cure for a broken heart. Some would disagree, and say Alchohol, But then you start remembering, wanting to listen to music...etc. but that only makes the broken heart suffer with a hangover, and a real bad migraine, so technically drinking when you are broken hearted, or listening to any music is not a good Idea. I know that I am rambling, but it is quite late, and I have no idea why I am still on here. So I guess the answer to your question would be a migraine....Final answer! lol :)

Definitely emotional pain, nothing like the pain of feeling blue. No migrane or any physical pain could top that.

That's a really hard question. It feels equal to me. If the physical pain was only migranes, then it would emotional pain. If the physical pain was stabbing or open wounds, it would be equal. Physical pain can put a toll on your emotions and your emotions can drive you to hurt yourself or even kill yourself.
Hmm... I never really thought of this but it's equal to me.

Emotional definately cause it can lead a person to cause have physical pains just cause of the state of mind that they are in. At least when you have good mental health you can take medicine and hopefully get over a physical pain. Unlike most emotional pains which can have a lasting effect.
