Hi,

Why IF?? He will die eventually... Even 20 years ago, some
Cubans were hoping for democratie... To Cubans, Castro is a hero, but he is also a ruler... The younger generation is hoping for other than communism regime... Now that Russia, their close allies, have turned to capitalism, Cuba may indeed ask UN for assistance in making a major change in their constitution, and
so, possibly also become eventually a democratic country....

Cubans work everyday, a bit like slaves use to in USA... That is communism... Some people simply learn to shut up, like
is best is also some other countries... But they are generally very
simple and nice people.... I know because I went on vacations there 20 years ago...

Castro is respected also because he has more education than 95% of the population, an is also multilingual... He does have
some credit... and crime is at a minimum too...lol...

No need for any war, believe me....
They can free their own selves without USA....lol...

His brother will attempt to keep the power but will be politically and maybe physically attacked by other powerful cuban politicians seeking power. Maybe a civil war and a violent attempt from the military to stop the civilians from revolving. No democratic elections in sight. a reluctant UN would intervene. European Union would intervene too due to central commercial location. Lots and lots of people fleeing to the US and Mexico (more to the US than to Mexico if you ask me)
But between you and me... I don't think Castro will ever die. Strong as an ox, i tell you.

No, we want nothing to do with Cuba and our military is stretched too thin anyways. Plus, invading Cuba is just stupid.

Nothing will be changed....Cubans will drink rum & chew cigars {not publicly for a few days},a bitter political struggle for power will be ensued {will be concluded after a few days struggle ~ probable intervention from America}, dog will bark at sunset, Guantanamo Prison will stay......

US wins!!!!! They were unsuccessful in assasinating him in the past. Presidents come and go and dies and still Castro's in power.
