Some easy and inexpensive ideas to renovate/ redecorate our house and garden? I live in India...

Ive got some new lamp shades already and plan to have the house painted soon too...what else?

Garden renovation can be done by adding new flowerbeds,a water feature, arbor and seating area.
Home renovation depends totally on your budget, since you want inexpensive ideas.......... You can go for Wrought Iron furniture which comes in attractive designs and is cheaper than wood.....Get some artificial plants and vines, lots of sceneries(Will look great on your freshly re-painted walls)Have your traditional boards and switches replaced with new trendy ones(Crabtree is good).................. You already have Lamp Shades........Get your Old wooden Furniture/Cupboards/cabinets etc re-polished and change the cushions/covers.........These small things can go a long way in giving your house a new look without too much expense........
But more than anything, remember that a house is not made of walls and ceilings , but the people who live in it.... So imbibe fresh spirits and a healthy atmosphere in your house, and make it your dream home!! All The Best!

Some other ideas are getting dif. throw pillows for the sofa, get a new rug for the living room, new blanket for your couch, new tablecloth for your dining room table. you said you were painting the house, inside or out? If it is inside try making a radicul change. If it is outside try making a change but less obvious. Good luck with your plans.

Use Asian paints these are cheaper and reliable. Paint your house your self, and save the ex pence of labor.
