take all the numbers that you want to have averaged. then add them together. then divide them by the number of numbers you wanted to average.
ex: 5, 6, 4, 1.
5+6+4+1=16.
16 divided by 4 (four because you have 4 numbers) = 4
I hope this makes sense.

the second is looking for the # that appears the most
the third is the # that is the middle of the smallest and largest #s(small# + large# divide 2 = middle#)
