The only movie that I have ever been Afraid to watch until this day was the original Exorcist movie. I still won't see it 'cause seeing the preview for it when I was younger was enough to scare me. There was this other movie once and I don't remember the name of it, but I do remember something about a girl moving into a house with this guy, who had; a daughter that lived in her room under the bed... The first time I saw that ****; my mother had to carry me to the bathroom and back 'cause I wouldn't get up out of the bed, 'cause I kept thinking that something was under the bed, waiting to get me! I can laugh about that **** now, but it wasn't funny when I was 6 0r 7! But the scary movies that I've seen today that I'd watch again are "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (The New One), "Wrong Turn" (Is the Bomb) and "The Hills Have Eyes" (Was good too)!!!!!!!!!! "Carrie" (Is an old time movie that I'd see again even part 2 was kinda good!)

It would be tough to beat the original Night of the Living Dead. No explanation is offered, there seems to be no way out, and indeed, what could be more horrifying than your very children turning to flesh eating ghouls and killing you? I will avoid speaking specifically of the ending here, although it plays a huge part in why this movie is so good.
However, the zombies are slow, and you could indeed run right past them.
Therefore, I think that the best ever had to be the first Nightmare on Elm Street. Everyone needs to sleep, how do hide from a monster like that? He could be anywhere, appear to anyone. Very creepy! Even sleeping spang in the middle of the bed doesn't make you safe in this one.
One, two, Freddie's coming for you.....

The Exorcist still bothers me. Amityville Horror was pretty good.
