India is a great country, I believe it will develop further if it solves all its problems with the neighboring Pakistan & keeps its non-aligned status. Presently they are spending too-much on defence.

They are already a "developed country", but they also have over a billion people occupying a small country. There's no way they can support themselves. It's a problem that feeds on itself.

In 2020. I think u haven't heard of 'Vision 2020'. It is given by our esteemed president- Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalaam. India will surely be a developed nation by 2020.

I think that would be difficult to say, considering India's ever-growing population and their rapidly declining resources. In my opinion, I would have to say, not for a very, VERY long time.
