to get your nose peirced? what about belly button?

Ideally, 16-18 for both,but... 14 minimum (Thats legal age in Canada I beleive) ...and that's if the person is really mature for their age. I find that the younger the person is, the more likely the piercing is to get infected due to lack of care. Young teens have a tendency to play with their piercings, and not listen to aftercare procedures.
For navel piercing there can be an issue if you get it done before the age of 14. Some girls havent fully developed their hips before the ages of 12-14 and if ther hips are very boyish and they get pierced, the skin can stretch the piercing when their hips develop. This can cause migration, rejection and a crooked piercing. At worst cases, the piercing can have unnatural pressure caused by the stretched piercing and grow out ( rejection) and you'll end up with a nasty scar. Then you'll have to be re-pierced a few months later in the proper spot. (Although because your skin has stretched so much, it will be different than before.)

You are never too young, however...
If a piercing place will do piercings to someone under 18 without parental consent, I think that they might not be legitimate, therefore probably unclean or unsafe. At least in California.
I would do nose before belly button. I have had both done, and they both have pros and cons. Bellybutton seems to get infected more often, and nose is kinda strange because it kinda catches your boogers (which can be fun if you are into that sort of thing)
Either way, watch for infections. If your body doesn't like it, take it out.

well...i got my belly button pierced about 2 weeks ago...i'm 16..i would say too young would probably be about 13 or 14...as for your nose...probably about 17 is a good age

Abby is on the right track. If you are asking how young is too young - then you are still too young. Focus on your mind/education and the rest will follow. Don't worry about trying to make yourself beautiful. You are beautiful so just be beautiful. Get your body art when you are comfortable with your body and have your own place to live, a job, an education, and a clear direction in life.

I've had my nose, belly button, ears and tongue pierced since i was 16. too young for me is 11

get it and enjoy it while you are young... you'll be sick of it when you are older.
too young? I'd say 12 is too young...
If I had a little girl, I'd let her get her belly button done at 13.. nose at 15.
