Yes, there are plenty of teen clinics around. Just look it up in the phonebook or online for a location near you. Teen clinics are free and they provide: annual visits, birth control pills, any questions you have, HIV testing, etc. They don't require a parent or guardian and they will ask you which is the best way to contact you. They are very discreet.

Yes you do....they need to be the ones to set the appointment and if your parent cant be with you then they need to call the doctors office and tell them they'll be sending another adult with you, they need to sign forms when you check in and get insurance information from your parents.
Just tell your mother that you hear all over the place how important it is for women...even young women to go to the obgyn, you should've started going when you started menstrating,it is super important that you get a yearly exam and pap test....you hear all over the place and in almost every womens magazine now about HPV virus,it's a infection "down there" that often leads to cervical cancer...there are no signs or symptoms of it,but it is becoming very, very common in young women and they've actually made a vaccination for it to prevent it,it just came out.
Just read up about HPV and tell your mother everything you've heard lately...it is scary, and also say you'd like to see an ob sometime before you turn 18 and may not have the health insurance to do so.

Planned Parenthood offers low-cost pricing, and they are confidental. I highly recommend them.

no..you do not. They will respect your privacy and confidentiality, you just have to let them know your wishes ahead of time (ie - how you want them to contact you if or when they need to, who they can talk to about your medical information, etc).

You want to go to a planned parenthood. They won't tell your parents if you don't want them to.
