An incumbent president who can run lower back often runs unopposed. every physique in his very own party complicated him purely lessens the party's hazard of protecting onto the White residing house, that's the main serious ingredient to them. the only exception i will think of of to this exchange into in 1968 whilst Lyndon Johnson introduced he does no longer run lower back. The GOP could have prevalent elections next year in lots of states, beginning with New Hampshire. alongside the way, applicants who do no longer do properly in the primaries will drop out, till it gets right down to a minimum of one or 2. alongside approximately September, they're going to hold a custom to 'decide for' their nominee. Years in the past, it wasn't clean going into the convention who the nominee could be, so conventions have been somewhat exciting and networks coated them 'gavel to gavel'. presently, although, events have often picked their candidate by using the time of the convention, so the convention is like an 'infomercial' for the party, and the networks purely tutor the highlights. that's a shame with the aid of fact I constantly enjoyed conventions. traditionally the Republican party leaders chosen their favorite candidate in the previous the primaries began. that they had line up each and all of the money in the back of their chosen candidate, and whilst he entered the race with the main funds, the media could coronate him with the aid of fact the 'presumptive winner' and supply all the different Republican applicants short shrift. however the final couple of situations this did no longer ensue. The final time exchange into GW Bush. In 2000, there exchange into no question in any respect, from the very start up of the race, that GW Bush could win the nomination. yet i do no longer think of which will ensue this time or we'd already are conscious of it. So there is a few exciting 'political theater' in the Republican prevalent season. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it wont even start up till next year.

I was hoping Joe Lieberman, but alas democrats won't even stand up for him in his present campaign, well, few. That is why they keep losing my vote as they slip farther to the left. Where is the traditional moderate democrats? I guess I've always been an independent, but now my moderate position looks like a conservative. Oh well maybe McCain or Giuliani. Clinton or Biden. Don't know. Of those I'd vote for Giuliani, but it is way to early to cast a vote.

Our next president will be the representative from Colorado, Tom Tancredo. The democratic nominee doesn't matter as their chance is basically zero.

Mark Warner and perhaps Bill Frist. Two southerners because you can't win the south without them.
