You might want to go to the specialized Web forum on washing machines (link below) to post your question. While you could well find someone here who owns one, that site is full of washer aficiionados and experts.
That said, 2 users gave the Duet a 4 (out of 5) star rating on epinions.com (2nd link below). There were no user ratings yet for the Duet Sport on nextag.com (3rd link) or on bizrate.com or starwars.com
There have been complaints of "pumping noise" and loud vibration from the Duet (6th link)
The last (7th) link is to a Diggernews article which purports to be "news" but I suspect is based on press releases and bumpf.

Whirlpool makes a very good product, but I personally prefer top loaders. The reason is that you can open the top during the cycle to add something or take something out if you have to do so. I also think top loaders clean better. Then as you get older, you appreciate not having to bend unless it's absolutely necessary and with a top loader that's one less time.

you do not want to waste your money.... My hubby is a home appliance repair tech, and he says the front load washers are not worth what you pay for them..... he repairs just about every one purchased in our area..... I will recommend to you the kenmore elite top load washer and drier..... i have had excellent service out of mine and it is just as costly as the front loads..... Best of Luck
