yes, especially when you actually put thought into your answer. They could at least pick SOMEBODY.

Sometimes setting it to vote is a better way to go. Because then everyone can decide. This makes it easier when like 5 or more people have given you a great answer and you cannot decide.

Plus yahoo answers is not about the points.

no sometime there are more then one good answer and it is hard to pick so why not let the people pick the best one, today was the first time i got 10 point and i don't know anyone. thank you for choosing me

some times there is no right answer to a question and you do not know how to choose so it is best to see what everyone else things the best one is

my answers have often been selected as best when i see others saying about the same thing, the only difference i can see is i state it as plainly as i can. short and sweet.
