Male Sun and Female Moon Compatibility?

Question

Just wondering if someone might be able to tell me the term for the compatibility between a person's Sun sign and another person's Moon sign? Wanted to know so I could look up more in a search engine or something.

Curious because my Sun sign is Taurus and my Moon sign is Pisces and I've kind of come to realize that there's this Pisces girl who's really got me interested and it's supposed to be a good match or something if your Moon sign matches their Sun sign? Not to mention that Taurus and Pisces Sun signs are already supposed to be somewhat compatible.

Oh, I was under the perception that since I had a Pisces Moon, that it would make me more compatible with her in some way since she's a Pisces Sun...

I'm not able to get a full chart on her though since I couldn't really get her birth time without having her raise an eyebrow and being like "What? Why would you wanna know that for?".

Actually two picses dont mix well. I am also a pisces moon and taurus sun. If you really want to know find a site that will do up a free natal chart for the both of you and compare results. You may also want to check out the Chinese astrology. They are more comprehensive in the sun/moon compatibilities. I am a rabbit with a dragon sun, my partner is just the opposite she is a dragon with a rabbit sun. Her sign is a leo.

You are on the right track. I went to all of the sites that I could and did free natal charts on my fiance' and myself. You should ask her what time of the day she was born, which will help you figure out her Rising Sign. When I did our chart I found out that we had the same sun and moon signs, and that our rising signs were compatible. In Chinese astrology we are the same because he is 12 years older. I have dabbled in astrology, and from my experience anytime you have the same signs in the three basic personality ( sun, moon and rising ) you have commons. You will like the same things, understand each other on a deeper level, and the sign being Pisces, you will both be intuitive to each other. You will drive yourself crazy with all of the info out there on astrology. Go to www.astrology.com to do some simple research on the different signs. The basics apply no matter what aspect they are in. In other words, if your Moon and her sun are in the same sign you are going to be a lot alike in at least 1/3 of your basic personality.

Time, Place and Date Needed
I think you are very considerate to try to get into a good relationship and do the best you can to find out. However, to compare two charts, you would need her place of birth, and the hopefully exact time of birth. You have to consider the entire chart for compatibility, not only Sun and Moon signs. An accumulation of planets in one area of the chart or a Sun/Planet conjunction may make the person e.g. more a Libra, than an Aries, where the Sun is.

You May Want to Find Out
In your case, I would talk to your friend about astrology, and how there is an energetic influence from the planets, with the little Moon raising the huge waters of the oceans, the tides. When the little Moon can do this, what can the other, much bigger planets do, energetically! Find out what she thinks about astrology.

You May Want to Learn About Your Chart
If she is open to astrology, I would go to one of the sites (without saying), where you can print out your chart for free with some basic information. Then I would study my chart and learn more about it. Next I would show her my chart and explain somethings about it to her.

Let it Be Her Idea
May be she will suggest to get her chart, too, or you can ask her, if she wants you to print hers out, too. For that, you have to have her place and time of birth. I would not talk about compatibility rigth away, it may make her feel looked at like a piece of jewelry, if she is "valuable" to you. It may be that she wants to learn more about herself, and that should be the topic until she will come up with the idea of compatibility as her own idea.
