Germany v Italy
Both teams showed good teamwork, determination, strong characters, and techniques. Simply a world-class play. And the winner was the team who had better determination.

The Mexico-Aregentina game was the most exciting game of the 2006 World Cup for me. Fans from both sides wanted the win so badly and the game had plenty of drama and enough shots on goal to keep the intensity up. Coming towards the end of the game, you could feel that the only way the game would not go to penalties would be with an amazing goal. Sure enough, Maxi Rodríguez hits an incredible volley from the long cross. That is World Cup excitement in its purest for me.

I think Italy vs Germany was an awesome game...as for most exciting it was definitely Italy vs France , not only did Zidane make a fool of himself which was the HIGHLIGHT of the game...but in the end the best team won...Italiaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Hey, this may be wierd, coz i liked the opening match at allianz arena best. The one between Germany and Costa Rica, Didn't expect Wanchoupe to score at all, but two strikes by him, was pretty good.
And another one was Germany vs. Portugal. Just coz i liked to see Oliver Kahn playing.
Guess I am a die-hard German fan.

The most exciting one was the final featuring the ZIDANE goal and headbutt. Next to that was France over Portugal with ZIDANE's great free kick. Then there was France over Brazil with ZIDANE simply dominating, and making a great set-up on the Henry goal. And the next best game was France over Spain with ZIDANE again all over the place.
