herbivorous animals eat only plants. They're basically the vegetarians of the animal world.

There's loads of them, here's just a few examples:-

Giraffe - eats the leaves of trees, particularly the acaccia tree.

The Giant Panda eats nothing but bamboo leaves and shoots.

Green Iguanas eat leaves and fruit
