There are some metro areas that will hire you in counseling; this is not top paying, because you would be helping people with a variety of problems that range from drug abuse to prostitution. The agency that you report to will actually help you with the license issue. As far as the felony, you may consider working in the state of the felony; you may get your record cleared by doing excellent community work within the counseling profession.

your degree is now worthless, you can't get a job in the human service field with a felony on your record.

go for a community service for volunteer works and get your record clear, if not so start your own private practice, one day you will get more clients then you will earn rather then a job ,.,,.,.,.,{*-^}
