Why don't we just invade Iran, and just cut out these middle men? That is really who is @ war right now. All of these civilians in Lebanon and Israel shouldn't have to die. Let's get to the root of the problem.

you obviously know nothing about the global economy. Iran has too many powerful allies, and they all have nukes aimed at our back doors. If we invade Iran, and manage to wipe them out without them firing their nukes at us, we will be even more gloablly hated than already, and will be most likely attacked by several other countries with nuclear weapons. Iran is buddies with China, Russia, and North Korea for starters, and these are 3 countries we don't want. Plus, if Iran and Venezuela cease to deliver oil to us, we will not have adequate resources to persue combat. Thus we will lose the war badly, sustain heavy casualties, and be lucky if our country doesn't get taken over in the end. This would, however, teach Bush a thing or two about irony.

Amen to Tuner1981. Having wiped Nagasaki and Hiroshima off the face of the earth, who are we to be lecturing Iran? After invading Iraq on false premises (no WMD & no connection to 9/11), how dare we think we have the moral right to invade any other countries. Even Afghanistan, for which we had some reason to invade, is not stable after all these years. Osama bin Laden has not been brought to justice. Furthermore, recent news indicates that our armed services are in a state of decrepitude, and could not possibly defeat Iran and it's allies. If Iraq has become a cesspool, what do you think would happen in Iran? Also, do you really trust this administration to tell us that Iran is making nukes for purposes of war after the lies about Iraq? For such a "peace-loving" nation, we sure do go around starting wars and killing people.

I think we should just take out the Iranian Leader. I can't spell his name. That would solve some of the problems and I bet a lot of the Iranians would agree. They used to be more democratic but have gone backwards since Khomeni guy ruled. If they get nukes, we will be the first to receive them.
Eventually the terrorists want to change this country to their way of thinking and go back 2000 years. They will try from now until kingdom come. They will not give up. They have nothing else to look forward to. A lot of them are just plain lazy over in the middle East. I have worked there. There are good ones of course but a lot of them are just lazy. The Israelis are hardworking people and progressive and free.

Well, if we invade Iran we be spreading ourselves to thin. And what about North Korea? We can't forget those guys. We don't have nearly enough troops to invade Iran or North Korea, and at the same time maintain stability in Iraq. That is why we need the help of the international community to disarm Iran peacefully.

I Honestly hate IRAN as much as it appears you do but, We have enough war right now. I'm honestly afraid we will end up fighting Iran at some point and the out come scares me. Not that I'm afraid we would lose to Iran. We'd kick there ***. I fear it may escalate involving more nations. China and Russia both have BILLIONS invested in Iranian Oil and Both rely heavily upon it for there needs. A serious disruption in there fuel supply could push them to do something they might not have done otherwise.

Iran should have been harshly dealt with in 1983, but it is definitely time to address their terrorist ways in a very hard line manner, guns and bombs, no roses. Syria is also a terrorist country causing major problems in Lebanon..... and I suspect that Saudi Arabia is a major source of support for terrorists.

It has become a case of "us or them", they(Islamo-facist fanatics) have declared their intentions and they are acting upon those declared intentions throughout the world. Their time has come... their time to become extinct is at hand.

What do we do for our soldiers in Iraq and our promises to the Iraqi people when our invasion of Iran, causes an all out, unrestrained call to war by the Shiites? How does any of that better our situation?

Ha, if you think Iraq right now is your ideal vaction spot and second only to Disneyland as the happiest place on earth, you go right ahead and encourage your political representatives to call for an invasion of Iran.
