Please forgive this simple answer. Man is more than a body; man is body, soul, and spirit. Man may have additional characteristics, but let us stay this view, as imperfect that it is.

We may desire another body (lets say physical attraction), but that person has more than a body. He/she has body, soul, and spirit.

We may desire another soul (this is where it gets complicated because the soul is not easily defined). We get the soul mate; he/she has a body and a spirit.

What about spirit? Spirit as in term spirit. Can our spirit be attracted to another spirit? Would this be another man, or would it be God (God is spirit).

This is what we have attributed to the nature of man, the living man. He/she has a body, soul and spirit.

What about things we can not observe? Beyond the living, death? Is there a possibly that we can be attracted to a person no longer living? This after death person no longer has a body but still has a soul and a spirit? Note the term person and not man; man has body, soul, and spirit.

Now to your question: man can be attracted to another man (in one or all, three aspects). Man can be attracted to a person, someone without a body. Or man can be attracted to a spirit (say God). But rather than focus on the aspect of man, maybe you should focus on man’s attractions.

Are you doing what you want to do ? Are you free from the confines of the garbage that the world dumps on you ? A soul is spirit.. nothing we can dirty with our hands . It's what the Creator breathed into us as the part of a design that cannot be duplicated . You are what and who you are . Your body makes the mistakes , your soul suffers the consequences of those mistakes ... No dups man , be selfish . It's your soul you are talking about .

The desire of the soul is as natural is for the body...it is more for pouring over the self to your confidant, mostly to cope up with the society alteast as i think....
