Yes, get a total blood, skin and organ transfusion....then wrap yourself in Saran Wrap (poke a straw thru for air) and hope for the best.

there is no cure for the flu... or the common cold for that matter. they are caused by viruses, not bacteria, so antibiotics will not do any good. You can try antivirals such as Tamiflu or ammantidine (they are both antivirals) to shorten the length of the flu... However, they don't work that well against the flu. It is also generally not recommended that you take antivirals for the flu because it causes drug resistance. Your best bet is to let your body take its course. It will eventually fight it and clear your body of the virus (assuming that you are a healthy person with no underlying immune problems). Your best bet against contracting it is washing your hands. That is usually the easiest way to contract the flu, since you rub your eyes, put your fingers in your mouth, pick your nose, etc. The virus can only enter your body through orfices or mucus membranes... and the easiest way for the viruses to get to these places is to get on your hands. and also the obvious... don't share food, cups, spoons, etc with people who are sick.

Yes, your body's immune system will take care of you. Once you get the flu, all you can do is wait it out and hopefully you are not out too long. The key is to prevent yourself from getting the flu through hand washing and keeping yourself as healthy as possible.

Once you contract a flu virus, you can't cure it like a bacterial infection can usually be cured with antibiotics. Vriuses have to run their course.
If you are the host and want to prevent it from being spread to others, simply keep your hands clean, cover your mouth when you cough/sneeze and minimize contact. Stay home if you are really sick.

Drink pleanty of fluids & rest and it will take 7 long days..
Drink a bottle of whisky per day and it will be over in 1 short week.
Seriously,
You can't do anything but let it run its course...
Your body should develop immunity and kill the flu virus
in less than a week...
