about people that i do not know when they are hurt or down on there luck . the homeless ,the hungry ,the poor and there children .
if there in need of help .why should i care about anyone but me !

Because it is the right thing to do . It is VERY selffish to only care about yourself. You are suppose to help others just like you would want to be helped if you where homeless or hungry or poor you would want someone to help you.

If they got there through no fault of their own, you should at least feel a LITTLE compassion for them, even if you do NOTHING about it. If you don't, than you're not human! Some day you may find yourself in the same situation...how will you feel about it then?
