my mum compares abt her studies n job( i'm a graduate n i'm not intrested to go for work before marriage,cousin sis is also a graduate n working n earning a handfull of salary)
and whenever she compares i feel like dying n very much feel depressed.
please advice me

Please tell your mother how upset she makes you. She probably doesn't know her comparisons make you uneasy.
Try to remember that she feels comfortable telling you things. That's why she finds it so easy to be very critical of you. That doesn't make it okay. You deserve to be happy -- even if it means spending time away from your mother.

Just say..."mom, every time you bring up my cousin, it bothers me...i mean do you realize you are COMPARING??? "and just see what she says...and just say..."MOM please do not compare me with her...it makes me FEEL DEPRESSED!! plus you know i do not like her!" if she continues to ignore you....TRY TO SAVE ENOUGH MONEY AND MOVE OUT...CZ THEN SHE DOESN'T GET IT!!!AND WHAT SHE IS DOING IS MEAN, VERY MEAN!!!

the best to thing to do is to talk to your mom. tell her what you really feel about those matter. don't feel so depress about it. in Gods time you will surpass this problem.

ignore mum and start looking for an apartment- you need some space, BIG TIME!!!

MY DAD DOES THIS TOO, I JUST CHALK IT UP TO HIS LOSS FOR NOT REALLY KNOWING ME AND THAT'S THE ONLY WAY HE KNOWS HOW TO RELATE TO ME OR MY SISTERS.
