With Computer processing speed doubling in capacity every 18 months, 100 years from now human machine interfaces will become seamless.

Probably a lot sooner than that.

Intelligent and self aware AI's will mesh within the lives of the affluent.

Cosmetic surgery and enhancements will also become similarly seamless. Children will have most congenital "defects" removed as parents itemize and optimize their children's physical and mental traits.

Bio ware and wetware will alter the way people both live and perceive themselves.

The human population will peak around 2045 at 9.5 billion, and will then slowly slide back as the economy shifts to allow more automation and less physical tasks performed by humans.

by 2100, the population will decline to 7 billion and within a few centuries of that, diminish to mere millions as humanity meshes with their AI servants and friends to achieve a kind of immortality.

Evolution will not happen as one group will not out breed to the exclusion of any other, but individual potentials will likely alter.

No new species of Homo, but AI species will number in the thousands.

They will tend our grand children's children and will one day regard humans with the same kind of awe we have for dinosaurs and dragons.

Since this is a biology forum, I presume you are asking about evolution. Humans will most definitely not evolve in 100 or even 100,000 years. Perhaps in a few million we may be a slightly different hominid but then again most selective pressure is off our race since our technology pretty much can handle what nature dishes out. On the other hand, if you are interested in technological improvements that affect our lives, then that would be a harder thing to answer. I presume there will be significant advances in neural-electronic interfaces and we will genetically eliminate many diseases. In 100 years, I doubt there will be MUCH change to improve the human physique (other than eliminating diseases). But I suspect in 100 years, there will be some attempts to make humans stronger, live longer, etc.

The answer lies in history. We have to see how humans have evolved over 100 years period. Starting from Newtonian era the biggest discovery was gravity and biggest challenge was to go faster on land and sea.
The dream everyone shared was how to fly. That was 1600. All the aspirations became reality in the Einstein era. We now know that dreamers of Newtonian era were not mad. Nor are they who exist today. We have mastered the art of travelling in space. Maybe we would master the art of travelling in time. Just like Columbus went on a ship (the medium being water) and discovered America. In the same way future Columbus would travel on a time machine (the medium being time) and discover a whole new galaxy. We may discover new dimensions. We may discover a new universe. I believe that the next 100 years will be fantastic. All our genetically advanced brothers have to be accepted in the family.

100 years is not enough to see big changes in evolution. Actually is nothing.

and genetic engineering is still far away.
