It is easier to boil water on mount everest.

At the mean sea level the pressure is the highest whereas as the altitude decreases the pressure too decreases. Mount everest, being the highest peak has the least pressure on the Earth.

At the sea level when we heat water there is much atmospheric pressure acting on the molecules of the water. Hence the heat of the molecules cannot overcome the pressuer easily. Hence it takes time for water to boil.

Whereas on mount everest, the pressure is too low and the temperature of 75 degree celcius is enough for molecules to overcome the atmospheric pressure.

Water will boil with the application of less energy on Mt. Everest because it boils at a lower temperature due to the lower atmospheric pressure.

Of course it would not be easier to get the water and firewood up to Mt. Everest, so I could say it would be easier for me to boil water at sea level on my stove than to get up to Mt. Everest to boil water.

sorry i changed into incorrect...its surely measurements recommend that Mt. Everest is at present growing to be at as a lot as fifteen centimeters (six inches) in preserving with 365 days. If we extrapolate backwards, taking the speed of upward push of 15 cm in preserving with 365 days and the present height of Everest (8,848 meters, or 29,028 ft), Everest could were at sea aspect in easy words fifty 9,000 years in the past.

if you are able to start a fire to boil the water at the peak of everest it will be easier due to less atmospheric pressure.
