My neighbors broke into my home while I was out of town at a funeral. I thought I could trust them and asked them to keep an eye on things while I was away since they asked the same of me when they went out of town. One of them was arrested on another charge and some of my things were found in his bedroom. The neighbor who I asked to watch my place denied it but the guy who was arrested admitted that he helped him. I recently found out where the guy who wasn't arrested lives and I want revenge so bad. What should I do? I want to forgive and forget but I'm so angry. They took some things of sentimental importance that I will never get back.

This is already an ongoing case with one guy currently paying restitution. It's the other guy I'm angry about. The one who got off scott free. Should I seek revenge??

I really don't know what u could do to him that would help u feel any better. If you seek revenge on him physically it will only come back on you and u'll regret it later. If you ruin his stuff, you could get caught or he may know it was u that did it and this would turn into a circle of events that will never end. Go with what feels right in your heart. Karma will get him in the long run

Put up privacy fencing, evergreens, and an alarm system and new locks. Let your neighbor's know that you know it was they who robbed you. Tell them that you especially miss the sentimental pieces they took and you hope they will return them one day, but you will pray for them even if the items are not returned coz you know they must be feeling pretty bad.

Revenge never gives you satisfaction, forgiveness does. And maybe they will think again and return your items, but even if they don't you have done the right thing.

Hitman maybe?..... egg his house...... slash his tires, Superglue his doors and windows shut on his house, car, and if he has one superglue the garage shut.. lots of money, and super glue but differently worth it if you want revenge, get some of your friends to help and do it during the night, that way when he wakes up in the morning, he'll be in for a surprise....... good luck on your road to revenge i hope it makes you happy. if you can try and get ahold of the UV light and the glue that the orthodontist uses if you really want to make sure he ain't getting out of his house ;-)

FILE CHARGES BECAUSE IF THEY BROKE INTO YOUR HOME AND BROKE YOUR TRUST AND NEIGHBORLY FRIENDSHIP, THEY WERE NOT TRUE IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY WERE ONLY COMING OVER TO "SCOPE OUT" YOUR PLACE TO SEE WHAT THEY COULD STEAL. FILE CHARGES BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T THEY WILL CONTINUE TO DO THIS TO OTHERS. THIS WILL HELP SOMEWHAT TO RELIEVE YOU AND WILL HELP YOU FEEL BETTER THAT YOU STOPPED THEM FROM DOING THIS TO SOMEONE ELSE AND WHO KNOWS... IF THEY BROKE INTO A HOME OF AN ELDER PERSON, SOMEONE COULD EVEN GET KILLED. (GOD FORBID!!!!) PLEASE FILE CHARGES ON THESE PEOPLE. THEY DID THE WRONG. YOU DIDN'T.
