Love them, there is the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton and also the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.
LJ Smith had a series about ten years ago called the Vampire Diaries,
Pat Graversen did one called Sweet Blood,
Sherry Gottlieb has one called Love Bite,
Love Bites by Margaret St.George,
Bitten by L A Banks,
There is one called Vampire Kisses that is good.
I have a few more authors in mind for those of you who like to venture into the romantic side of vampires.
JR Ward is a fairly new name in the romance novel and sci-fi section. She currently has two books out. "Dark Lover" and "Lover Eternal". She's created her own concept of vampires and played it out in what is becoming a very well written series.
Lucy Blue is also a newcomer to the genre. Her stories are set in medieval times in England and Scotland. Very in depth, very detailed, very much the typical romance novel...but what can I say...I'm a sucker for the cheesiness ^__^
Kerrelyn Sparks is one of my favorites. She's yet another one who has brought a refreshing twist. Not only are her characters interesting, but easy to relate to the 'real world'.
Hope you like some of these if you read them. They are good books, take it from me, I'm a bookworm.
