Well the story line says that Sherona got back together with her old husband, moving back to Jersey or wherever...sorry I forgot haha.
But as far as the actors go, I heard a rumor that the actress playing Sherona wanted more money and didn't get it so she left. No guarantees on this though, that's only as reliable as the MSN gossip page heh. =)

The actress who portrayed Sharona was rumored to have left "Monk" after disputes with producers over her weight. Whether or not any of that is true, who knows, but I sure as heck preferred her to Natalie.

The actress demanded to paid equal to what Monk was making, and they cut her loose. In the show they had her hook up with her ex and move away.
