SIMS 2. How do you transver sims 2 saved games so you can reinstall them later?

My computer is having troubles so I want to wipe it and reinstall sims 2 but still have saved games on it. I was thinking I could put it on disk then reinstall it later. But i cant identify the games i want to save. Do you know how to do this? Any tips at all would be great.

Save your entire folder at
My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2
and all of its subfolders on some kind of media.

All your downloads, stories, neighborhoods, sims, hairstyles, relationships, paintings and personalities/jobs/skills etc will be in there.

This is the folder that gets rebuilt each time it is deleted or missing. It rebuilds and puts all the initial Pleasantview etc files into mint condition.

After you get your new drive ready and games reinstalled, just replace the mint folder with your saved files from that My Documents folder. Mine is pretty huge cos I have 600 Megs of downloads. :o The total file size of my Sims folder is about 1.5 gig so that would need so that will require about 3 CDs.

If you have one, a USB thumb drive or other portable media could be used for this sort of temporary transfer.

Hello, I'm a sims fans...

And I have had this problem before. What I did was I saved all of my sims 2 stuff on CD's "burned them" And then After I clean disk and defrag my computer and wipe out all of my sims stuff.

Then I reinstalled everything and then uploaded all the stuff that I saved on to CD's.
Anything was working fine after that....

Sims 2 is astounding! I enjoyed it!!! I basically did now not like the clothing and hair... yet in sims 2 there have been better useful expansion packs.. the only subject substitute into which you mustn't like bypass out in the city. yet i for my section love sims 3 too by fact it is largely dazzling it is so cool and there is plenty better subject concerns you're arranged to do! the expansion packs are super!!!!!!!! for my section i choose The Sims 3.... i ought to reccomend which you purchase the expansion packs: Pets, previous due night, Generations and objectives. worldwide Adventures is kinda rubbish i recommend you in uncomplicated words get to bypass to France, Egypt and China, it is not that super....
