Today I was running errands, when I came out of one store I went to turn on my car but it would not. The lights will still come on, and the radio does as well. When I try to turn the key, I don't hear any noises except the ding ding ding reminding me to put my seatbelt on... My battery died a couple months ago and I had to be jumped, so I know its low - it's never been replaced, also.

But I found someone to jump the car, and after ~10 minutes it still would not turn on. Is it possible its still just the battery being completely dead? What else could it be?

do a voltage drop test on the cable going to the starter, Do a starter amperage test. that will tell you if the starter is bad or not.
sounds like to me the selenoid on the starter, or the starter itself
is bad.

Check and see if your battery cables are secure (tight) around the post on your battery and then have your battery put on a charge and make sure that there is fluid in the battery before going on to charge your battery. other wise bubble eyes it just may explode..
