Ok and also no heaven no hell? Right? While living on this earth have u not found a pattern of good, bad, black white, happiness dispare, progression, suspension? What better species portrays this jorney better than a human being? Why are humans so special? Why are we the elite species? Just by chance? So your just going to give up hope and die a carnal, natural animal death? Or do u want to have hope in the theme of the black and white?

They choose to not believe in any religion coz probably something bad happened or they prayers were not answered and then they give up. Or some, because their parents have been atheists as a result of this frustration, just accepts atheism as a natural phenomenon. While the rest just accepts atheism as they do fashion.
This is what an atheist believes:-
1. Loss of loved ones - parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, or friends, who have died, are gone. We will never see them again. Our ancestors, the great minds of our past, are not waiting for us on the other side. There will be no great reunion after death.
2. No accountability - people who committed great evil during their lives will not receive punishment. Adolf Hitler escaped all accountability by taking his own life before he could be captured. There is no justice in such cases, no retribution.
3. No reward - the flip side of the previous item. You will not be rewarded for any good deeds you performed in your life. You will not be rewarded for following the teachings of your church/mosque/temples/etc and living piously.
That just makes life so meaningless...

Personally, I think animals are the better species. I don't believe in the man made "religions"..but I believe that every living thing has a spirit. Just because one does not believe in religion does not mean that they believe in nothing.

Humans are not elite species. The apes kicked us out of the trees because of our destructive ways. Animals have souls too. Humans are not special. Assertive and aggressive yes, special no.

ok.. im not atheist but i dont believe in "god" either.
basically, we dont have "spirits" but we all carry with us an energy.
nature rules everything, there is good and bad in nature just as there is good and bad in every human.
all of us humans are born "animals" all of our habits and behaviors are learned, they are not natural. and our energy will one day after death find another body and be born all over again.
doesn't creationism sound a whole lot like the greek mythology we all dismiss as fictional?
