we saw on 9/11 weapons were used to keep the passengers in their seats and to put fear into their mind, so why are we now allowing GUNS on airplanes ?? the TSA are allowed to bring guns on airplanes, why are we allowing the government to let armed Feds on the plane given what we saw where the armed Feds did Abu Ghraib, the armed Feds did Guantanamo, the Feds took down Tower #7, and we're now gonna let these folks sit next to us on airplanes with GUNS ?

You're not supposed to DRINK the bong water, you know...

There was not a Governemt conspiracy on 9/11.
The Feds are not our enemy.
Guantanamo is where our enemies are kept.
If they were in Abu Ghraib, they probably belonged there.
The TSA is on OUR side.

I would much rather them have guns in their possession on the planes protecting us rather than extremists trying to get to Allah.

Wake up and smell some of that stuff y'all are peddling.

You will never see a TSA agent rise up, expose his identity, show his gun to everyone in an act of aggression to strike fear into everyone on the plane. TSA agents have them to strike back at those people that wanna take over the plane, which happened on 9/11. If you were on a plane that went down because of the tragic events of 9/11, you would be thankful if someone on America's side was there to intervene with quick force, so THAT is why guns are allowed on a plane, BUT ONLY by the TSA agents. TSA Agents are protecting lives of innocent civilian Americans, not any kind of prisoner, so don't try to put passengers and prisoners in the same category.

Why are you guys allowing people to carry guns even for personal protection. If you had a total clampdown and removed all personal use firearms and had an amnesty then all firearms after a set date could be set as illegal and therefore an offense to own. That way there would be a lot less violent crime involving the use of hand guns.

Lose them. The image of USA would really take a huge international boost. Do you know that many people from overseas wont travel to your 'great' country because they fear people carrying guns.

Trust me buddy, I know the FAA regulations for allowance for guns on planes. The elite few who are allowed to bring guns on planes are the best of the best at many things. Try and take their gun or hit 'em from behind, you'll wake up in cuffs if you wake up at all. It's not an open casting call for any psycho or ego tripper who can just hold a gun.

Air marshalls are highly trained and undergo very through background checks and mental competency tests before they are allowed to board an airplane with a gun. You have nothing to worry about.

Oh and FYI anybody can transport unloaded guns in your checked luggage so long as they are in a locked hard-sided container and seperate from ammunition. You just have to declare them when you check your bags.

The problem is that virtually any object can be used as a weapon, screwdrivers, plastic forks, even ballpoint pens. By giving the good guys weapons you actually increase surviability (not the next hijacker is going to get anywhere).

Also, please adjust your tin-foil hat, we can't get a good read from your implant.
