To the best of my knowledge, Hussein was captured and is now on trial. There is a new Gov't elected and in place.
Is it Al Qaida? They are not Iraqi's.
So is the answer to this, that we are fighting the same people that brought down the towers, have been sawing off heads, and torturing our guys alive, by cutting off testies, gouging out eyeballs, cutting there hearts out, and finally cutting off there heads. So knowing that how can some people side with these extremists...I know of no instance where Bush, or any other christian condones this.
Is this what the liberal mind supports....You call Bush the bad guy?

My God woman, we're over there fighting those mean s-o-b's from al Qaida who along with Saddam Hussein had all those weapons of mass destruction hidden!! That's why our fearless leader sent the troops in over there instead of sending a larger number to Afghanistan. Why, its the duty of our troops over there to help convert those Godless heathen ragheads to the ways of Christianity while giving them a democracy they don't want and have proven they wouldn't know what to do with if they had it.

Why you should praise Jesus Christ every night that we have a leadership triumvirate like those good holy men, George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld and the sainted Condi Rice to insure that those Godless heathen ragheads keep killing each other so that in the end, Iraq will be a haven for the Christian right to lead the way to a better tomorrow.

All God-fearing Christians should insure that their children who are old enough enlist in the righteous Army and go to Iraq to help steer those heathens into the light and into the way of salvation for their immortal souls.

So praise the Lord for Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice for it was the first three who saw the light and who decided it was the right thing to do to send Americans over to Iraq to be killed in the name of righteousness and holiness.

Hallelujah!!

Um...where did you get your info? It seems to be slanted and opinionated and not logically concluded or research oriented.

Supposedly, American Military is fighting terrorism. Technically, in a time of war, it is against the Geneva Convention to kill the leader of another country no matter what that leader has done. I am very curious as to how the American Military could not catch up to and capture Bin Laden...it has been reported in several newspapers, CNN, the local news in this state and the doctor's reports have been shown on 60 minutes. Bin Laden needs to have dialysis three times a week. One would think that the US Armed Forces would have caught up to him somewhat easily.

You speak of the torturing of "...our guys." Have you seen how, "...our guys..." have tortured the Iraqui's? What is your source for the eye gouging, castration, sawing off heads and cutting there (misspelled, by the way. It is 'their,' denoting and connoting possession of a .

The born skeptic in me wonders if your question has so many semantical and grammatical errors, have you been listening to the rumors your friends have been talking about with such specific knowledge of torture technique? I do not ever know of any culture that has used a saw for decapitation. I have seen it in horror movies -- the teenage hack 'em up type shows. Although as I think about it, a saw might not be as painful as one would think. From the rear of the neck, the central nervous system (CNS) would be immediately severed, and pain factor is zero. From the front a saw would easily sever soft tissue and quickly reach the cervical spinal, cervical plexux and the jugular veins in which case (should victim be standing) he or she would be dead by the time they hit the floor.

In my own opinion: When Bush declared war on terrorism I immediately turned to my husband and said that this was going to be another Vietnam. I do not believe that the world will ever be rid of terrorists or terrorism.

So far I have been right. From what I have read at University, four papers from around the country and local paper up here it looks more and more like Bush would very much like to go to Iran next. Bush also declared war before the US had any backing from the UN. I believe this to be a bad move on the administration's part. If anyone truly believed that there were weapons of mass destruction and biological warfare substances in Iraq I would call you foolish and ignorant. Why would a leader as smart, sneaky and conniving as President Hussein --who, remember, was trained by the CIA in covert operations which is a well documented fact, -- keep any weapons or biological weapons in Iraq with the NATO surprise visits?

I think you might be making this too simple. Many, many factors go into the decisions by the President, even if they are not the brightest decisions. Bush is not a liberal minded guy or President. If you are really wondering why some people side with the extremists, just look at David Koresh or Jim Jones and Jonestown from the 70's, Rev. Moon (the "Moonies"). Why do these people kill themselves for their leader?

Me? I have the psychology degree and can answer this, but I will not. It would take too long and you appear to be very emotional about this subject and I do not wish to upset you more than I have already made you upset.

Just think about things a little more rationally and logically...

I agree that we are fighting ourselves and our grandchildren in Iraq, after all, our grandchildren will still be paying the bills after all this is over with. Our government just cant seem to keep us out of other countries civil wars, first the Phillipines, then Vietnam and now this. Lots of senseless loss of American kids lives. For this, the bureaucrats gave themselves a nice raise, and the poor in America cant make a living wage.

I think Junior is waiting for that 100+ acre embassy to get done or he tried to make Iraq the perfect little conservative country with outlawed labor unions and flat taxes and private ran municipalities or is trying to keep the Iraq oil in the ground as long as he can get away with it.

The Iraq civil war is going to turn into another front on the larger US-Iran war. Israel will fight IRan's proxy Hezbollah. Sunnis in Iraq will fight Iranian backed Shia. America will ultimately bomb Iran.

We are fighting ourselves in Iraq. A better question is what in hel- are we doing there. The tragedy is for the family/friends of the Americans who were killed in that supremely stupid ,unnecessary enterprise. My heart hurts for them.
