easiest way : windows media player will do it for u, just go to the rip options and check the box mp3 rather than wma, and then rip ur tracks, there u go u have ur tracks in mp3...

You can do it with a sound editing program LIke SoundForge. I use that, works great. I'm not sure of a free/low cost solution, but it takes a converter.
You have 2 tasks, extract the cd audio, convert to mp3
There are utilities to convert cd audio to mp3 for free, it's the extract program I have not seen for free. I've not looked in a while though.

Yes you need to go to the Raphsody website it imports the songs from the cd to a library that so you can put it on your MP3 player.

there are certain websites that offer free trials on music converter software. The one I can think of is called akram music converter. You can type it in your search bar and it will pull it for you.

If it is already on a cd... no... unless it is a CD-RW or CD+RW... then you can delete it and rewrite it that way
