Why do guys go for the skinny girls but not the bigger girls? Even when they say your sweet? The bigger girls could be beautiful with a little meat and the sweetest person ever ... but still go for the skinny girls.

In general, the physical appearence is an attention getter. Society has also decided that smaller women are better love makers. This as we know is not entirely true.
I think that there are beautiful women of all sizes, but I am more attracted initially to a smaller well proportioned woman, many times only to find she comes with and attitude fit for the toilet.
Summing this all up, before one can truely determine a suitable mate one would have to spend time with this person in many different settings and explore the total person...

There are plenty of guys out there who actually PREFER larger women to the skinnier ones...it's just harder for them to admit it when they are still in school- and that's because of peer pressure, competition, and just the simple fact that most guys and girls really don't know what they truly want until later on in life. Don't worry if you are a little bigger than some girls....I can guaruntee you that you'll have no trouble finding someone out there who likes you and is attracted to you just the way you are.

You don't mean all guys, do you? Not all guys go for skinny girls. To me, it seems like most guys like a woman with curves, or even a few extra pounds. To say that guys only go for skinny girls is generalizing, not all of us are like that. That's like saying, "women only like guys with money", or "women like guys who drive nice cars". I am one who likes a woman with a "little meat", they are what I find most attractive. I've known lots of women over the years, some are skinny and have no personality, some are heavier and are sexy, and vice versa. A guy who only wants skinny girls is shallow, and most women probably wouldn't want him anyway.

You are just meeting the wrong guys. The shallow ones. My bf met me when I weighed a bit more. He still dated me. Then I lost 30 lbs and was skinny....but I knew he liked me for who I was. You'll find the right guy. It also depends on the age of the guys you're talkin' about.

I don't buy that. I always see bigger females with tiny men and skinny things by themselves....really depends on the man

Funny, but I don't see many girls going for "big, but nice and smart" guys. I know lots of guys who date full-figured women. I've also personally seen women who claim to want a "nice, honest, and funny" guy, but they always go for the stupid, womanizing good-looking guy.

not all guys are like this I promise. i like all women in general and have dated some thinner and some bigger. in my opinion, the bigger girls are alot more interesting and fun to be around. they just seem to be more down to earth. oh yeah, women are supposed to have curves!!!

It is programmed in our dna to be attracted to the healthiest girls. Heavy girls are by design not as healthy as thinner girls. Simple.
