You are trying to run faster than you can. As you fail to achieve more speed - you reach a confused stage. Slow down a lot. What is for you is for you only. No one will take it away. Have confidence and live a normal speed life.

You don't mention your age and for the most part it doesn't really matter - when we start feeling confused about a lot of things there are some things we need to consider: 1) are you on medications and if so, do any of them cause shortness of breath which might be causing you to lose oxygen and slowing brain functioning, leading to confusion 2) is your confusion due to choices you are faced with or have recently made 3) are you at those pivotal ages that seems to cause natural confusion - such as leaving high school or college and going into the workforce, late 20's to 30's, late 30's to 40's, late 40's to 50's, approaching retirement - these are ages that seem to bring about mental changes and confusion as we ask ourselves what have we done with our lives, what have we accomplished, what have we got time and or money to still accomplish. 4) Sometimes confusion comes about if we've had an accident and maybe suffered a trauma or head injury that we really didn't give much thought to at the time, but then as time has passed, even as long as a year, it has started giving us problems - which would require a dr's diagnosis. and 5) sometimes we realize that our confusion is due to a spiritual conviction that we must come to terms with. I hope this has not added to your confusion but actually has given you a few steps to go by to begin to clear it.

Try meditating.

Don't think about anything. Completely clear your mind. Thinking about things just drags you around in circles, and starts more questions with no answers. Thinking about your confusion is the worst thing you could do - especially if you want to clear the confusion away.

Most confusion comes from a contradiction in a natural action you wish to make and an expectation of "normal" that has been artificially instilled in you. Without further clarification of your questions i can't really give you a better answer than this.

i believe that only those people are confused who have a lot of options in their lives. that is why they are confused about what to opt for. the best way is to imagine. just try to imagine the consequences of each and every decision you are about to make.
