It's a side effect of capitalism in the modern world. Especially in America. People are trained to have short attention spans and be self-centered. Both of these habits foster capitalism. How else can you sell 15 different kinds of deodorant? People are not trained to think of others first. It was necessary in large families and on farms but we no longer live in those kinds of environments. It's very sad.

no all people r that way. there r those who like helping others. as 4 the selfish, they don't care about anyone but #1----get all u can get, and take all u can take, is their motto.
