No, I think it's a manufactured pop gimmick but it really shouldnt matter if anyone else likes it. If that's what you like then more power to you.
Personally my favorite band is Nirvana which was in a way, also a manufactured pop gimmick but i think the rawness and agnst of the guitars combined with the lyrics and drums made up for it.

i like him, but I was really bummed to hear the "F" word on his CD in the Beautiful song. I didn't know to buy it at walmart so that it was edited

I really only like his song Beautiful.
I havent heard much of his music but Iam sure I cn grow to like some of his music..
