Why are Americans so uninformed?

If you go to countries like Jordan, Lebanon(after the war is over), UAE, Qatar, and even Syria, you will find out that the people in these countries are civilized.
Most of the Americans and EU people who go there find it totally different from the stereotypes in the movies and the American media.
Before the last war, 20000+ ِِِِِِAmerican and EU people lived in Lebanon and did not want to go back to their countries.
Over 100k Americans and EU people live and work in the UAE.
As for the murderers part, go to websites like Human rights watch and amnesty international and you will find out that America's record is not very good either.
How many Innocent civilians did American soldiers murder in Vietnam or Iraq or even Afghanistan?
Everybody has blood on their hands including America itself.

There is a lot of well developed and progressive middle eastern countries. But unfortunately have religious beliefs held many of the other countries in the region back by alot. many of these countries are among the oldest countries in the world and still is lagging behind. why this is is propably a very complicated question but there is some obvious factors that can be calculated by common sense and abit of historical knowledge.

There not. I love the Middle East and I am a blond Canadian girl. You should see Dubai, that is about the most Civilized place I have ever seen. They have the most amazing shopping malls and fantastic hotels. And they have morals unlike people in the west but they don't push their beliefs on others. Of course there are some "uncivilised parts of the Middle Easy (I used to live in Kabul) but most of those people were not causing violences, they were the victims so violence. Please remember that the greatest atrocities of the 20th century were committed by Europeans not the Middleeast.

Hezbollah is made up of terrorists, the same terrorists who bombed the US on 9-11, Britain, India and other countries. They hate democracies because they interfere with their barbaric, cruel way of life. Everyone should join in the fight to erase them from the face of the earth.

Why are they "uncivilized and barbaric"? Because YOU say they are? What makes you the judge of who is civilized or not? Civilization is a relative term- every culture thinks they are the most civilized. Look what the "civilized" European countries did to the Native Americans!

I think that Americans are barbaric, ignorant and murderers. They kill inocent civilians in Iraq and stay there when they are not invited. No body wants them there. Because of the way they are, nost european and middle eastern countries do not like America anymore, thanx to uncle Bush and ignorants like u!

The last time I checked, the KKK, skin heads, Jeffery Dahmer; and the lists go on, were all middle American....not middle east. You better watch more 'local' USA news buddy. Crap happens all over the world, not just the middle east.

goodness, do you even read the papers or watch the news? most of the folks out there have nothing to do with all of this insanity in any part. they are suffering horribly and are just human, like all of us. imagine if we were invaded by another country that thought its way of life was better than ours. if one of the religious groups in our country attacked them. and they came over here and started bombarding us with war. would you fight? would you have to totally agree with the religious fanatics that started it before you took up arms against the invaders? no...i thought not. so no they aren't all killer and barbarians...they are just scared to death by all of this. mostly they hide or run away from home. countless folks have left their countries, could you do that? leave your home and just say, go to canada to wait it out? it sucks for all of us. yes there are some who agree with the terrorists, but most are just normal human beings in great pain. really.
