Should he turn back around and bring her to me? I know that she is looking for me. She is a calm baby when at home and in a predictable routine.

high need=easily over stimulated, acid reflux, spit up
for me, she is an angel. I guess since it's only been us she isn't use to people yet.

No, if you want him to appreciate everything you do and be involved in your daughter's life and take charge of kid#1 when there is a kid#2 around...then let him do it on his own. She will not die from crying and he will then understand how hard your day is and be more helpful when he returns from Grandma's.

How far away is grandma? And I agree, a trip without mom for a few days at that age is a little early. An afternoon or evening would be fine, but anything more than a day is too much.

Yes or you should have went with them. If your daughter is high needs (needs held a lot, medical problems, etc.) she should be with you and no one else right now. Let them come over to the house to see you guys that way she is around you. Make him turn around and bring her back to you so she can calm down.

Could be hunger, gas, etc... Your husband should be able to get along for a while w/o help. I have a 4 m/o and I care for her during the day and my wife at night. Sounds like something more going on. At this age they are not at a place to be manipulative or needy for mom.

Don't let your husband take your baby to grandma's like she's your new puppy. Good God, she's four months old and she needs her mother. If grandma wants to see her that badly, your husband can bring her to your house. What were you thinking? I wouldn't let my four-month-old out of my sight. I'd go crazy with worry and longing for her.

Yes. Four months is a little early for a long trip away from Mom.
