The San Diego Pride was the best it's been in years. I had so much fun. Even tho it was my first year being allowed in the beer garden...still good times!

Here in Atlanta we have that huge gay pride flag. That like 20 or more people have to carry. They collect money on it throughout the parade. (Never been to another City's Pride.)
I started go to Pride in 2000. Seen the flag in 2001. From 2002 to 2005. I helped carry it. The red was ALWAYS on the left side of the street, and of course the purple was on the right side.
Now here in 2006. For my homosexuality closure. I attended the parade. I like to have died when I seen the flag flipped. I could not believe it. I could not understand it.
Here I am closing up my past. And the Pride Festival is SCREWED to hell and back. Weather played a huge factor this year. On that Sunday everything was called off. On the Friday or Saturday a stage collapsed do to weather problems.
In the years past. I have a wonderful. Especially with my mom there watching, with my brother. Those were the days.

It was a lot of fun of course but I, and alot of people I knew, felt that it could have been handled a little better. Then again I do live in a pretty backwoods, red neck, republican state so what ru gonna do?!

More power to him - but if he really wants to compete he had better spend some money on beads and candy to toss off his float. We have been doing this for several years now - we got it down to a science...

the Galveston pride (Splash) was great. It was my first pride celebration ever, and i can't wait for next years!
