should i straighten or leave my hair curly...my curls arent REALLY tight....my hair is brown...i waz plannin on straightening it....clothes wise i wanna make a WOW!!!! when peeps see me....i usually wear tight jeans and tight tees and tennies ..... i waz thinking bout wearing a skirt bcuz no1 has seen me in 1 at this school......should i? im tall slender kinda curvy with long legs ....... if so wat kind and from where i dont really like long skirts but we have a dress code that everything has 2 be fingertip length if the item is too short should i wear legggings..if its like only a half an inch to an inch i dont usually worry bout it.......any advice on a top and shoes? HELP!!!! i wanna make a WOW!!!!!

I'm going 2 9th grade & i am thinking the same thing. i have blonde hair & i am getting brown streaks, & i am getting contacts instead of my glasses. i wanted to look different 4 the new school year! u should try making changes like that and u will deffinatly get a wow! as 4 clothes, wear something new, and maybe change the style of clothes u usally wear, people will definatly be impressed. also make sure ur makeup looks really nice, not like u spent 2 min. on it. and finally do sumthin' cute with ur hair, like straightinig it, & maybe sum new color. I have tight curls and im going to 7th grade..but this yr. try straightening your hair give it a new look or relaxe it. it may surprise ppl and your friends, in a good way. =)
Clothes wise I am the same ay i want to make a wow! but do not know what to wear, Jeans maybe try a tight flair jean or if you want a relaxed jean get them from american eagle, and a stripped polo. You can make a wow w/o wearing a skirt and having the guys all on you ..lol
Skirts if you have shirt arms i would not go for a skirt b/c it would be short and make your legs look longer, unless you want that =)
knee lenght skirts look more like spring thing...but ya legging under a skirt would be cute..
but you may want to try your own thing watch fashion shows on. tv to get ideas you may like.

Use colors that look good on you and are somewhat bright, skirt sounds like a good idea if you have long legs. Make sure that your accessories are tasteful and really fit with what you're wearing...but don't overdue it. Too much really is not good. I think that once you figure out an outfit, then you should think about what hair looks best with it.

Try something new! Wear something that you haven't ever wore to school before. I wouldn't wear a skirt though. Maybe go to a salon and get your hair layered. Die it blonde. I hope this helps. Good luck in 8th grade!
