Never watched a Mel Gibson movie.

But he's entitled to his opinions. The people of Malibu don't appear to be trying to end his career.

I think that the way that the jewish community is attempting to make sure that Mel Gibson never works again is significant.

Enough people around the world are questioning their opinions of jewish people right now. If they had responded to the drunken babblings of this over-pampered superstar with forebearance I would have respected that - but time & again the jewish people twist everything to make themselves appear like little innocent victims - it is truly nauseating. It's not like he is taken seriously, it's not like he's hitler or anything.

He's just a drunken tit, that's all.

If Mel Gibson ranted about Greenpeace, of which some people died for theri beliefs, there would not have been the fuss. For some reason, some groups are allowed to be attacked (liberals and conservatives for instance) and some groups aren't.

The only reason why the media and a lot of people are on this is that a lot of people in the media dont like anybody that has the same religion as mel is and if he was a liberal this story this story would not be as huge as it is

Drunk driving is horrible, as well as the racial slurs he said. I do think he should be held responsible for breaking the law (but the law is soooo lax on drunk drivers so probably not much will come from that) and that he does need to publically do something for his bigoted comments. I wasn't a fan of his to begin with, but I think that since he has apologized and if he does community service or talks with Jewish leaders then he shouldn't be ostricized from society. The incident will follow him for the rest of his life and he'll always be judged for it but we all have to be responsible for our own actions. Only he knows how he truly feels.

He were given pulled over for making use of even as intoxicated and all started spatting a collection of anti-semitic words on the officer. He reported something like "the total international is at warfare over the Jews." It ought to no longer be a media hoax because he went on television and apologized himself and is putting himself in rehab.

The same as anyone does about the credibility of someone drunk. He's very lucky he didn't wreck or commit homicide. What his mouth says is certainly without credibility.
I think his apology was better than what the former President said about the Lewinski case and it seems society seemed to think that lame comment was okay....

I heard a good quote. " A drunken mans words are a sober mans thoughts" He must have some hatred of Jews, for him to even say those things.
Being a Jew, I can't imaine being so drunk as to yell at a traffic cop that the Christians are the cuse of all wars.

I think that it's old news. The guy made a horrible mistake. He drove drunk which I think is a far worse crime than his drunken rantings. He's apologized for everything, is now in rehab. It's time to move on.

Very embarassing for Mel. I think he sounds like a very conservative catholic, whenever someone is that conservative it makes them narrow minded. I will say one thing though, he even looks good in his mug shot.
