I'm going to assume you're serious here, and this isn't some weird joke about "gay lifestyle". I think this will be interesting if only to see what correlations exist between yahoo answers users and all of the above. More and more, people are realizing that being gay doesn't have to dictate the rest of their identity; I have some pretty diverse gay friends. But, as one more gay male, here's my answers:


TV: I did used to watch Will & Grace, but last year I pretty much stopped watching TV. I'll still catch an occasional Law & Order SVU (the marathons are utterly addictive), but I mostly watch dvd's now. I'm working my way through a friend's Firefly dvd, as well as the first two seasons of QAF. I'm also a pretty big ER fan when I'm able to catch it. I'll also sometimes watch whatever my parents are watching, but that's more for the sake of "family time" and talking during commercials.

I eat and drink the same thing I did growing up. Umm...pasta. Meat. I live with my parents when I'm not at school, and when I am at school I tend to get a lot of sandwiches or wraps, mostly because those are the most prevalent thing offered on campus. I guess I drink a lot of milk, mostly because of how I was raised. And water. Um...how are you honestly supposed to answer this?

Radio: I don't really listen to much radio anymore. Music in general though: mostly some form of alt rock. I live near Canada, so alot of my favorites are Canadian bands that may or may not have made it big in the rest of the States: it all kind of filters through my area. (Our Lady Peace, Tea Party, etc). I happen to think that "Rock" is getting harder and harder to classify, though, so it's kind of hard to say. I tend to stay away from Pop though, with a few exceptions.

I have my laptop: dell latitude for school. I really only play like...diablo 2 sometimes as far as games go. Given the chance, I would prefer an in-person board game: anything social.

I'm comfortable in sneakers, and since graduating Catholic highschool I don't think i've really worn dress shoes. I'm not really into brand-whoring, so...if they fit and they're comfortable I'll wear it. I do prefer styles that other people tend to think of as skater shoes.

CLothing I wear depends a little bit. Lotta jeans. random t-shirts I've gotten from school. If I feel like dressing to impress, so to speak, I've got a couple polos and the like (Old Navy, American Eagle) and some dress shirts (no brand). I buy clothes if I like the way they look, and if I can afford them; not based on what store they come from, and i won't wear anything with a huge label printed across the front.

I don't like the concept of celebrities really. There are people who's careers I like, but I don't see why we should then scrutinize their personal lives when we'll NEVER even meet them. I care more about how my friends are doing.

Music I mentioned above. Some more favorite bands include: Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Violent Femmes, Sloan, Tragically Hip, REM. I also listen to SOME Madonna, Dixie Chicks, and bunch of other stuff I can't really think of right now.

Not into sports.

Movies: I don't watch a lot of movies in theatres. I'm more likely to rent or borrow a dvd. Recent things I've seen as such were Kinsey, Almost Famous (again), Female Trouble (a John Waters film), Dog Day Afternoon, Carrie (again)...pretty random stuff. If something's considered "a classic", I'll watch it if I have the opportunity if only to see if the cinematics really were that great. I have a personal goal of going back and watching the horror classics, probably because we were never allowed to watch horror films when I was a kid. Possibly my favorite movie that I saw in the past two years was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, closely followed by Being John Malcovich (I wasn't too surprised to see that they had some of the same people working on them). I am also a Burton fan (NOT sycophant, but fan).

-I like to watch The Simpsons, Girlfriends, The L Word, South of Nowhere, and any program with a lesbian relationship involving two femmes.
-I eat and drink whatever I have an appetite for. The foods I like are turkey t.v. dinners, coca-cola, & mint choc-chip ice cream.
-I listen to radio stations that play pop,hip hop, and r&b.
-Obviously I have a computer.
-Fav games are playng on my computer.
-I wear K-swiss and Nike shoes. I also wear any shoes that are cute and feminine.
-I wear any clothes that are pretty and feminine.
-Famous people I like are Sanaa Lathan,Regina King, Sandra Bullock, Vivica Fox,Ashley Judd, and Ciara will be my future wife.
-I listen to hip hop and r& b music, as well as a little classical and alternative,but basically anything I'm feeling I listen to.
-I don't really follow sports.
-The movies I like are romance,comedy, drama,suspense,thrillers,and romantic comedies as well as anything with two fems in it.

Now, my question to you is are you doing an experiment on gays?

-Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, 24, Smallville, Lost, CSI, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, King of Queens, How I Met Your Mother and ER... and I used to watch Alias too and Star Trek (all except the original) when it was on the air and other sci-fi shows like Buffy, Angel, Charmed, Xena, etc

-I'm not a picky eater, I can eat anything and everything actually... burgers, fries, pizza, chicken, pork, beef, seafood: fish, shrimps, mussels, oysters, etc. veggies, cakes, pastries, chocolate, ice cream, junk food, etc. You name it, I'll eat it like chinese food, thai or vietnam food, korean food, italian food, french food, canadian/american food, filipino food, etc. - I love food, any food... is it too obvious? Heheh. As for drinks: tea, coffee, juice, iced tea, diet coke and water

-I listen to Chum FM (Canada) which plays the latest hits

-I do have a laptop but I'm not really into video games so no Xbox or PS2...

-I do sometimes play Lara Croft or The Matrix on my pc, also Minesweeper and Pacman, heheh.

-Shoes are mostly for hiking like Merrell and Timberland

-Jeans, cargo pants and t-shirts/polo shirts are my main clothes -a few Adidas, Levi's and Columbia

-Mostly pop music, plus reggae, a little bit of hip-hop, R&B

-I don't really watch any sports, maybe an occasional hockey game or two esp. if it's women's hockey or maybe Curling.. I did watch the World Soccer tho' does that count? Not really into competitive sports either...

-I like movies with lotsa action/suspenseyou know, the usual violence like lotsa guns, fighting and explosions... ;o) Examples: Lara Croft, Terminator, etc. Mystery: Red Eye, Flight Plan, etc. Romantic comedies: While You Were Sleeping, Just Like Heaven, 13 Going On 30... Sci Fi: Lord of the Rings, Alien (all 4 movies), Harry Potter, Superman Returns, Spiderman, etc. and of course all lez movies: Imagine Me and You, DEBS, Saving Face, etc.
