The answers are different because women are all different. Technically, you can only get pregnant during ovulation. But it takes a couple of days for that egg to get down the fallopian tubes. In the meantime, sperm can get UP. That's what they are programmed to do. Look for the egg. AND it has been shown that some sperm can live up to 4 days.

So. there is time after ovulation occurs and that the life span of sperm cells can overlap.

Just get on birth control pills or get an IUD and you won't have to worry about it.

A woman can get pregnant at anytime. All women are different, their cycles are different and ovulating times are different.

Some things that can affect the chances or increase the chances are certain medications.

Actually, it's the ideal time to get pregnant. Ovulation occurs on 10-14th day of the menstrual cycle, which is counted from the first day of flow.

Yes you can get pregnant. If you are old enough to have sex, you are old enough to prevent pregnancy. Go to Planned Parenthood and get some birth control. They charge by what you earn, not your parent's income.. If you "can't" say no, at least don't get pregnant. It is your responsibility, the guy only cares about getting his rock shot off.
