It depends on what is bad about it.... Do you have oily, dry, combination skin? The easiest thing for you to do is to go get a quick facial, (*The cheapest, 25 minute facial) where a specialist just cleans up your face and then gives you tips on the best products to use on your skin. HERE IS THE THING YOU DO... When she gives you the product names, just look them up and write down the active ingredients. Go buy products at a pharmacy or even Target. It is not the brand you care about-- it is the active ingredient that does what it is suppose to for you. Also-- exfoliate your skin often. That will remove all the dead crap and keep bad oils, which cause blackheads and whiteheads, to come in. Finally, wash your face in the morning and the evening. If you use a gentle cleanser, (I use the generic CVS brand of Cetaphil), you won't harm your face. Remember too that your hands carry lots of bacteria all day-- so wash them often and try not to touch your face too much. Hope that helps.

Morning:

1. Wash face with oil free face wash (I like noxema in the tub - it's minty and wakes me up, and I've never had bad skin - been using it all my life)
2. Use a toner
3. Use an acne gel on any pimples - let dry
4. Apply an oil free moisturizer (if you don't moisturize your skin, it will moisturize itself with oil)
5. Apply makeup if necessary
6. Don't touch your face

Night:

1. Wash face (I like those disposable thingies like Dove daily facials because I don't get makeup on washcloths that way)
2. Toner
3. Acne Gel
4. Moisturizer

Every Couple Days

1. Wash Pillow case (bacteria breeds here and your face touches it all night)
2. Use an exfoliating scrub
3. Use a masque

I use MD Forte by MD Formulations. You have to get it from a dr but not with a prescription. Just someone who is authorized to sell skincare products. Try local plastic surgeons and dermatologists offices. I used to use ProActive which was good for awhile and they have a generic version at Wal-mart now which is supposed to be better than the real stuff so check it out.
