Yes!! I like the song, probably mainly because it reminds me very strongly of my feelings when one of my ex-boyfriends, "RH", dumped me. That relationship was the best and happiest one I'd had up to that point, so it was all the more hurtful and confusing when he suddenly chose to end it. :(
This happened in 1996, and I've had other relationships since RH, but I will never forget the emotional turmoil I went through because of him. I wrote MANY poems on this topic, in fact! Some of them might even be song-like. I can email you one or two, if you'd like to check them out.
BTW, what musical genre or style would this song be written in? Country? Rock? Folk? Emo?
