I'm 17, i've never used a tampon,but i've tried several times. I can get the tip in but it wont go in any further. I've read all the instructions and used lubricating jelly, but it just wont go in, it doesnt hurt or anything though. I normally just wear pads but I'm going swimming this weekend so i really need to use a tampon, plus i play a lot of sports so i think they would be more comfortable than pads. Are all girls able to wear tampons, or am i just doing something wrong?

i dont think all girls can, but ive been wearing tampons for three years now and i get that problem every now and then and i kinda have to force it in and sometimes it does hurt but maybe you should ask a doctor

I don't think all women can. I've never used tampons but possibly your using the wrong kind for your type of body. Try something like O.B. (they're supposed to be comfortable so i've heard). If your still really tight that maybe your problem and that's why it's uncomfortable. And in that case my advice is to masturbate, or get your guy to finger you. Good Luck!

Not all girl's bodys are the same some are just not made to use tampons. Have you tryed the differant sizes?

u should see a doctor first to make sure nothing is wrong and then if u are still a virgin, wait and don't use a tampon. that is why it may be uncomfortable to put in. once u lose ur virginity then it will be easier to use tampons

Maybe your muscles down there are too tense to let it slide in. Sometimes this happens to girls who never had sex (or don't masturbate), or if you are just nervous about putting something in there. Just try to relax & then slide it in. It may take a few times trying before it works for you.

yes all girls are able. you should be too. maybe your just a lil scared like i was my first time. if you push hard enough (while being relxed) it should go!
