Well,I am currently at 170 pounds, but I don't look like I'm 170 pounds. I have a hour glass shape body and I'm not too fat/chubby. Why is this?

weight is just a number. people don't see it unless they watch you weigh yourself. worry about how healthy you are instead.

How a certain weight looks on a person is in the eye of the beholder. You might not think you look "too fat/chubby", but someone else might. Just like some men are attracted to BBWs, some men are attracted to skin-and-bones girls, and some men are attracted to just "average" girls.

It's all very subjective. However, what's cool is that you seem to feel good about your appearance. :) When people feel they look good, other people can pick up on that.

Being proportional does not mean you don't look fat!! and although you may not "look" fat because you are proportional meaning you have the fat in all the right places....you may still be overweight..what is your height?? maybe you should work out anyway!! working out never killed anyone!!

This is the same reason I don't look 200 lbs but I am.. and my friend who is 160 looks 12 months pregnant.. you are one of those fortunate people, like myself, that while we may be overweight, it is distributed thru our whole body.. so there is some in our thighs, and hips, and butt, and stomach, and boobs.. so we look proportional..

Muscle weighs more than fat...More muscle mass = more weight, but a still lean look.

because your body size is proportioned to your weight.

your size is not determined by your weight on the scale - throw it away. ;)
