Naruto Uzumaki is about a young boy at a Ninja training school. He goes on assignments and trials to get higher ranking and develop his ninja powers. Naruto has a secret that the Demon 9 tail fox evil essence was sealed in his body. even Naruto doesn't know this. Naruto's dream is to one day be Hokage, which is the ninja master and village leader.
Bleach is about Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15-year-old high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a shinigami aka grim reapers. Bleach is far more complicated. And hard to explain. The first story arc is about how Rukia Kuchiki a sort of grim reaper loses her powers to Ichigo and he must take over her duties. Its very light hearted and comical. However during the 2nd story arc. Rukia is arrested for allowing a human to take her powers and sentenced to death. Ichigo and a cast of friends go on a rescue mission to save her. From this point the series takes on a Dragonball Z feel as Ichigo a la Goku must become more and more powerful to defeat each of the Grim Reapers or as the series calls them Death Gods. Like Dragonballs Power rating system. Death Gods level is based on their rank. Ichigo goes through a trial by fire as he fights one more powerful opponent after another to save Rukia.
Both of these series are excellent and I recommend them. Like most anime they start out harmless and playful with bits of drama but eventually the story takes on a darker and far more serious tone as the action escalates.

Naruto is about a boy named Naruto who has a demon fox inside of him and because of that he is shund by everyone in his village. His goal is to become Hokage and earn respect in his village. It's pretty much just showing what he goes through. It's one of the top anime's right now. I like it. I haven't watched Bleach yet, but I will when it premires on Sept 9th 2006.
