i have 2 ideas in mind one is a indian dream catcher and the other is 2 old west 6 shooter guns crossing each other in which i want my 2 sons names in it somehow. I need some ideas on how to have someone draw me up some pictures.

dude just go to a tattoo artist most of them can try to draw up what you are thinking... well the good ones any way

Any good tattoo artist can work from a picture. Get on the computer and so a search on indian folklore, symbols, etc. or on the old west to find a picture. Go to the tattoo shop and tell them you want that picture and ask them to incorporate your sons names and they will draw something for you. That is what they do.

Oh, use some imagination, dude.
Shave your head and have the map of the world tatooed. You can get South America (or Africa brought down across your face starting with your nose and have your entire forehead for either North Ameria or Europe and then run Asia around the rest of your bean.
Australia in either case will fall onto the back of your neck.

You can submit your original art to the tatoo artist. Try photos online or a catalog of dreamcatchers from a manufacturer.
Your guns could be comical. I saw the crossed guns as a popular T-shirt that says 'good girls keep their calves together'. If other saw the same photo in your tatoo, well, er, you know...

have your kids write their names and tatoo it on in their writing.
Or ask them what they would like.
Forget the guns, dream catcher will look like a spider web - my least fav, tat,
start looking on tattoo site just to get an idea of what stuff look like.on skin, also celebretie tattoos.
make sure you go to a good place.

some of the above answers are good guide... but ask the tattoo artist to first show you pencil or ink sketches before tattooing the final... i understand now a days you get tatto ink which gives you temporary ones for appr. a week for special occasions... you can experiment

The dream catcher has been done too death.I really like the six shooters idea.You could have their names engraved on the barrels and have scroll work on the pistols.Go to any tattoo shop and they will be happy to draw it up for free.Especially if you get it done there.

Talk with your tattoo artist. He/she should be able to help you finalize your ideas. If they are unwilling or unable to do that, find another artist. I designed mine the same way. I used my own designs that my tattoo artist then implemented. Good luck!

I have an idea i think you should not get a tatoo because it will never come off your body without laser surgery and that cost more money and as you soon get older you will regret geting one!
