Jesus wasn't black. He also wasn't white. He was from the Jewish sect that has a very Mediterranean look to them, large nose, etc.

I still don't get why people haven't cast a black actor as Jesus yet. Historically speaking, it is almost certain he was either black or Arab. White Jesus was actually an invention of the European church to give him the look of beauty that was most valued by Romans and the Byzantines.

Because in the Bible He was Hebrew, and white, though not perfect is closer in color to Hebrew than black.

i think thats a great idea. the only question i have is in the bible it says his skin was honey or bronze or something like that. so why not get someone with that tone. other than the pasty white people that always play him.
